Randy Todd, VP Content Sales
An enterprising sales leader and veteran ‘mediarite’ with over 12 years experience in media and advertising sales, Mr. Todd has developed a deep knowledge of online marketing and search optimization through his years of experience working within the industry. Prior to his position at Lateral Media, he was acting VP of Sales at InfoSearch Media, where he played a key role in improving sales revenue and interdepartmental efficiency, and managed major accounts and business development opportunities. He also oversaw the various sales channels of the organization including telesales, enterprise sales, affiliates and resellers, and handled the growth and maintenance of the company’s successful partner relations and Fortune 500 clients.
Mr. Todd has also worked for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, consulting with top level donors, and was recognized as the most successful fundraising coordinator in the history of the organization. Prior to that, he was California Liaison for Clean Water Action, a national non-profit lobby group, and worked in environmental research and education, fundraising, training, and management at their office in San Francisco. He also spent two years with Educational Media Group, creating, selling, and managing radio advertising campaigns and he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University, in Middletown, Conn.
Diane Sievert, VP Content Development
Ms. Sievert began her content development career as an freelance SEO copywriter in 2003, using her academic background in composition to produce optimized articles for hundreds of clients across a wide range of industries. After a promotion to Senior Editor in 2005, Ms. Sievert became the Director of Content Development at InfoSearch Media in 2007, where she managed all departments related to content production, including keyphrase analysis and content planning, copywriting, and editing. As Director, Ms. Sievert successfully managed the production of approximately 5,000 SEO articles each month, maintained a worldwide network of several hundred professional copywriters and editors and revised the company's approach to optimizing content as the SEO landscape continued to evolve.
Ms. Sievert earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with honors from UCLA and worked as a LAUSD English teacher and ELL administrator before attending graduate school and receiving her Master of Arts in Literature from UC Santa Cruz in 2005. In addition to her work in web development, she has taught composition and creative writing classes at UC Santa Cruz and several Los Angeles area community colleges.
